Farallon work on hold… Shooter’s Boat Works shut down… I took a trip back home to Minnesota to see my family. Good times. I was able to go on a day sail on Lake Mille Lacs with my brother. Also spent some time on Lake Minnetonka. My son and I also spent some time downtown Minneapolis at the Mississippi River at the Stone Arch Bridge and Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock & Dam. 30 years ago, my brother and I took a sailboat down the Mississippi from Minneapolis (we launched at the Camden Bridge in North Mpls) to Florida. Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock & Dam is the first of many locks we went through. The Upper St. Anthony Lock (no longer in service) is the deepest lock on the Mississippi. The day my son and I visited was cool because the Army Corp of Engineers had the lock area open for visiting.
